Why support us by giving a donation?

Preserve the past. Protect the future

Donaghadee is one of Northern Ireland’s most historic and iconic coastal towns, rich with stories, architecture, and cultural heritage. As a community-driven charity, we are committed to celebrating the diverse stories of Donaghadee and its surroundings—from its remarkable maritime past and architectural treasures to its vibrant traditions and people.

We work to protect, restore, and celebrate the town's unique legacy — but we can’t do it without your help.

  • Hosting cultural events that bring the town’s history to life

Archival & Research Efforts

  • Digitising and cataloguing local historical documents and photographs
  • Recording oral histories from long-standing residents
  • Maintaining a local heritage archive for future generations

Volunteering & Training

  • Supporting local volunteers with training in conservation techniques

In 2025, funds will be raised to make our current exhibition space bigger and more permanent. Work continues on restoring the lifeboat's interior. We will be happy to accept donations by cash, card or cheque at our exhibition centre in Donaghadee, or through the link above. A positive review on Trip Advisor is also really helpful. Thanks for your support!
